Hisani’s sire is the incredible 2 time unanimous National Champion Stallion Marwan Al Shaqab.  His dam is N.Y.N. Imara Versace, an excellent daughter of the beautiful stallion and great sire, Versace.  He is bred to be a breeding stallion. As you can see by viewing his pedigree, he is double Fame VF, double El Shaklan and double Ruminaja Ali.  He possesses the blood of such great mares as triple crown halter winner Kajora and National Champion WP Jr. Horse Little Liza Fame.  Hisani received the best from both sire and dam.  He is an extremely tall, leggy colt with what we all dream of for conformation.  His neck surely sets new standards for length and position, his shoulder is correctly sloped, his back is short and tight and his hip is extremely long.

We acquired Hisani on February 1, 2005.  He was in training with Michael Byatt.  Michael showed him to a Top Ten in Yearling Colts at Scottsdale and then he came home to Kharousel Farm.  We thoroughly enjoyed him.  He is a kind and loving horse, truly a pleasure to live with.  An additional thrill was watching him at play.  He has an incredible western lope.  I can’t wait to ride him.  In July he rewarded us again by being named Champion Yearling Sweepstakes Colt at Region 5 in a very tough class of 17 colts.  Ed and I decided we had to give him a shot at the National Show so off he went to Joey Canda for conditioning and training.  Michael flew in a couple of times to school him.  In Albuquerque, Hisani was a standout.  He was named Top Ten in his class and was 3rd overall with placings of 1st, 2nd, and 5th.

In 2006 as a 2-year-old, Hisani bred 10 mares.  Of the 10 mares, 8 completed their pregnancies and we have 4 colts and 4 fillies.  This group of mares included daughters of GS Khochise+++//, GH Venture, Sanadik El Shaklan and Desperado V among others.  We are very excited about Hisani's first group of foals.  Several of these foals may be available for purchase.

This year as a 3-year-old we bred him to 24 mares.  100% of his mares are in foal and all but one conceived on the first cycle.  He is a very fertile young stallion.  This group of mares includes daughters of GS Khochise+++//, Da Vinci, Aladdinn Echo, Odyssey SC, Jullyen El Jamaal, Simeon Shai, Magnum Psyche, Dark Victory, Exxclaim, Khadraj NA and Audacious PS among others.  We also bred a beautiful daughter of the great Quarter Horse sire Zippo Pine Bar and expect to have a truly wonderful H/A WP horse from that cross.

Hisani had an incredibly successful year in 2007.  He was with Jeff Schall at Shada from June through October.  The Schalls find Hisani to be an exciting and beautiful young stallion.  They have high expectations for his future in the ring in both Halter and Western Pleasure and as a breeding stallion.  In August, their first time in the ring together, Hisani was Canadian National Champion Futurity Colt.  In October at U.S. Nationals Hisani was U.S. Reserve National Champion Futurity Colt.  He was also the crowd favorite.  Hisani generated a lot of interest in Albuquerque and we anticipate a busy breeding season in 2008.  Dick Adams of Savannah Bloodstock said "This young stallion may be the "ultimate cross" for Fame VF+ daughters and grandaughters—perpetuating the quality, beauty, athletic ability and disposition of Fame VF+ bred horses."

This past winter Hisani was with Summer Chapman at her training facility in Enumclaw, WA, preparing for his western pleasure phase of life.  He looks incredible under saddle and he loves his new job.  Hisani spent the Scottsdale Show with Jeff Schall at Shada's stalls doing almost daily presentations and making an appearance at the Scottsdale Signature Stallion Auction.  His first foal to enter the show ring, GH Maryn, bred by Fran Fischer and now owned by Ed and Sarah Truitt, Daly Pride Arabians, was unanimous 1st place in Yearling Colts AOTH and went on to be named Jr. Champion Colt AOTH.  Hisani is now home at Kharousel Farm for the breeding season.
